Why this library exists
Vaginal and vulvar symptoms are common, but the information available online is often fragmented, overly commercial, alarmist, or too vague to help a reader decide what question to ask next. This independent editorial library is designed to provide clear, evidence-linked explanations about symptoms, testing, products, life stages, visible skin changes, and care thresholds.
The goal is not to turn a symptom into a diagnosis. The goal is to help a reader understand what a symptom pattern may suggest, what it cannot establish, which details matter, and when professional assessment may be appropriate.
What the library covers
The collection includes guides about itching, burning, discharge, odor, urinary symptoms, pregnancy, postpartum changes, breastfeeding, perimenopause, menopause, vulvar skin conditions, home tests, laboratory methods, product labels, privacy, and health-service questions.
Each guide is intended to answer a focused reader question. Broader hub pages connect related questions without pretending that one page, one symptom, or one test can explain every situation.
How the content is prepared
Topics are selected from documented reader demand and organized into a coherent specialist collection. Articles are built from identified medical, public-health, regulatory, laboratory, product-label, and clinical-reference sources appropriate to the claim being made.
Drafts undergo source checking, reader-focused editorial review, collection-level consistency review, internal-link review, and local rendering and accessibility checks. Dates and limitations are shown where a claim depends on a current label, product, service, guideline, or regulatory record.

Medical review status
This library does not claim that every article has been reviewed or approved by a physician or other clinician. A professional medical-review statement will appear only when a specifically identified professional has actually reviewed a specifically identified version and the scope of that review is recorded.
Editorial acceptance, source checking, automated quality assurance, and medical professional review are different processes. They are not presented as interchangeable.
What the library does not do
The website does not diagnose an individual, prescribe treatment, replace an examination, interpret a personal laboratory result, or provide emergency care. It does not request intimate photographs, store symptom answers, or create a clinician–patient relationship.

If commercial relationships are introduced later, they must be disclosed and visually separated from editorial conclusions. “Vaginal Itch” is the owner-selected exact-match public name. The owner has acquired vaginal-itch.com for the primary Tier-1 publication and vaginal-itch.online as a separate Tier-2 promotional experiment option. Neither domain is bound to this local build, and hosting, DNS, analytics, monetization, professional review, and public release remain separate decisions.
